**ESUT Matriculation 2026: A New Chapter Begins**
For all the freshmen joining the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) community in 2026, the excitement is palpable. The university has announced the date for its 45th Matriculation Ceremony, signaling the start of a new academic journey.
On Friday, 20 February 2026, the ESUT community will gather to witness the matriculation of the new students. But before that, all fresh students are expected to attend a two-day orientation exercise on 18 and 19 February 2026. During this exercise, students will receive valuable information about the university's culture, academic policies, and other essential details to help them navigate their time at ESUT.
**Gown Fees and Payment Details**
To complete their matriculation, new students will need to hire an academic gown and pay the matriculation package fee. The approved charges are as follows: undergraduate students will pay N10,000 for the gown and N5,000 for the matriculation package, making it a total of N15,000. Postgraduate students will pay N15,000 for the gown and N5,000 for the package, totaling N20,000. These fees cover the hiring of the academic gown and the matriculation package.
To make payments, students should follow these steps: visit the ESUT student portal, select Sundry Fees to generate an invoice for the academic gown and matriculation packages, and then proceed to any commercial bank to make payment using the generated invoice. It's essential that students follow this process to avoid any issues at the point of payment.
**A New Chapter Awaits**
As new students join the ESUT community, they are expected to be prepared for the exciting journey ahead. The university's 45th matriculation ceremony marks the start of a new chapter in their academic careers. With the necessary fees paid and the matriculation package received, students will be officially welcomed into the ESUT family. We wish all the new students a successful academic year and a memorable time at ESUT.
