Spread the word Sokoto state governor, Ahmed Aliyu, has commissioned the Buhari Dan Shehu Jumu’at Mosque in Tambuwal, which was reconstructed by Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko following its abandonment by the administration of Aminu Waziri Tambuwal. Governor Aliyu explained that the reconstruction of the Jumu’at Mosque was initially awarded during the Tambuwal administration but was abandoned despite its immense spiritual significance to the people of the area. “This mosque remained in a state of disrepair until the assumption of office by this administration in 2023, when we made a firm commitment to complete the project,” the governor said.
