The African Democratic Congress has condemned President Bola Tinubu’s attendance at the Argungu Fishing Festival, describing the trip as ill-timed and insensitive amid worsening insecurity. In a statement on Sunday, the ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, cautioned that terrorists are gradually consolidating control over parts of Kwara State. PUNCH Online reports that on Saturday, Tinubu paid a one-day visit to Kebbi State, where, in addition to commissioning projects, he attended the Argungu Fishing Festival.
